Chestnut Tree Tales were created in support of Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex, which cares for 300 local children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive, life-shortening conditions.
The Tales were inspired by the Sussex landscape, and by one little girl called Elray who has grown up splashing along the coast, racing up the Downs and exploring the forests of this beautiful county.
The Rainbow Snowstorm is the first in a series of tales following Elray and her friends on adventures of discovery and wonder. These intrepid explorers have been brought to life by the much beloved illustrations of Algy Craig Hall, and the fine support of investors and publishing professionals who were touched by the magic of the Tales.
